Q: Does it connect to the IT Networks?
A: No the system is a standalone requiring no support for the IT department so no network connection is required
Yes if you want it connected to the network we can do this with your IT department.
Q: how much training is required?
A: We have designed the system to be a hands-off solution. The system automatically monitors the temperature and generates alarm. An operator is only required to guide people through the system and manage events if alarm is generated.
Q:does this record images?
A: As this is a screening solution, we have designed the system not to record images.
Q: Will this stop people with Covid 19 coming on to the Site?
A:. No. A high temperature is a possible symptom of Covid 19 and we are providing a solution to screen for a raised temperature only this is not a medical device.
Q: Why do you need this?
A: To provide peace of mind to all visitors and staff that you are doing everything possible to minimise the spread of Covid-19 and provide a safe working environment..
Q: Can the fever screening thermographic camera be installed outdoors?
A: Outdoor wind and sun can easily affect the surface temperatures of human bodies and the working status of the camera, which results in a deviation between the measured skin surface temperature and the actual body temperature.
To ensure the accuracy, we strongly recommend applying the solutions indoors.
Q: Can the camera detect multiple faces for temperature measurement
A: Cameras supports up to 30 persons at a time. But still we recommend to carry out temperature measurement person by person in line with current government distancing policies..
Q: Will other heat sources (such as tea cups, kettles, etc.) cause false alarms?
A: The cameras are able to use face detection technology, so other heat sources will not cause false alarms.
Q: When can I use the fever screening function after a camera is turned on?
A: The cameras need to be warmed up before using. Turn them on and wait for 30 minutes (bullet / turret camera). To ensure continue operation we have designed the system to run 24/7 with additional backup batteries in case of temporary power loss.

Putting people first when considering how we tackle COVID-19 and bringing your staff and visitors along with you on your journey.
Individual monitoring, if not engaged with in a thoughtful way, could be seen embarrassing and demonising, therefore we will advise on how to engage with your staff so they see this as a tool that is as much for them as much as it is for the business. That way, the business retains a healthy and confident workforce, whilst being able to give early indications to those who may be in early stages of COVID-19 and help them isolate and get tested where practicable.
Best practice guidance
We will provide guidance and support to ensure that the deployment of our product is an embedded part of your COVID-19 solution, and not just seen as a bolt on. We will advise not only on technical aspects, but also advise on cultural and behavioural aspects that need to be taken into consideration.
We will map your staff and visitor flow through the entrances that you deploy the product and give an initial proposal on how you can get maximum engagement, including recommended signage and walkways.
Specific Concerns we would want to assure your staff and visitors of:
- No personal data is retained about any individual
- No photographs are taken or retained
- GDPR is fully respected and adhered to
- That their health and wellbeing is first and foremost, because their health ensures we have an ongoing and successful business/capability
We can provide specific guidance sheets or videos for:
- Reception/Security staff who will need to engage with those utilising the equipment
- Staff – A guidance flyer that can be used to communicate how the system works and what to expect when they return to work.
